But the law was the law

And over the years
He became cynical
Distrustful

And finally became
a full-on curmudgeon

Amusing his workmates
With his cynical wit
And slightly crazed attitude

He finally had enough
Retired to become a filmmaker

Eventually drifting into the Alt-right
Becoming a full-blown Trumpeter
Late in his life.
