Living in Berkeley, California
In the fabled 60’s and 70s
Was like living in a time bubble

On the corner of Dwight Way
And Telegraph Avenue
Across from People’s park
It felt like 1969 had never ended

The feeling the vibe
The mood the place
the sweet smell of weed
Was so 60’s

Felt like the world had stopped
Just for a moment
To savor that special time
And place

In Berkeley the spirit
Of the 60s never died
And live on to this day
Almost 50 years later .
