Creativity alive and growing

Writing, painting invite my Muse
Family and friends remain bemused.
I am writing all these words,
paint smeared on canvas afterwords.
The brushes soak in the water,
the ink stains my writing blotter.
It is a pleasure I am finding
to tease my brain with spell-binding.
