The endless disdain launches
A portentous admonishment,
A jarring, projected ruin…

A humankind discouraging hate,
Wheeling quizzes and credits
For a deleterious cause…

For the unbecoming, stressed-out legions,
The gravest, most saturnine horrors…

And a bleak enmity
To fortunate entrenchment -
Weak global fragility
And varicose morality,
Certain to cripple
National security,
A fallacy of our far-reaching
Oversight.
A political theatre of potency,
Enormity,
And diplomatic primacy
Which rarifies global forms
Of emboldenment,
And which seem more
Likely in this era
Of cause and effect reparations…
