Guzzling

He drank his beer too quickly

The yard of ale was emptied fast,
Guzzled down his throat.
The speed he drank was unsurpassed,
He almost felt afloat.

He staggered down the road to home,
His gait was somewhat wobbly .
His stomach became so overblown,
“I’m drunk,” he slurred quite groggily
