And hypocritical
Sparks a furor…

Living in the shadows,
A democratic society
Which upholds the legitimacy
Of a shameful and hideous torture.

A heinous consequence of grappling
With gory and ghastly dues,
Setting into motion
An unparalleled crossing
Of critical shorelines.

Blazing a path
For a maximum juggernaut
To erase their fleeting dissonance.
