We conjured you in ignorance
a kind of classless chemistry
a nifty experiment we
misunderstood the manual we

(just kidding
there was no manual)

operated under a
misapprehension we
ordered up a normalcy we
said we had no expectations we

expected everything.

We raised innocent objections
each one rigorously overruled
overarching
overmuch we
said if only it were over we

miscalculated maths.

We split the hand we
doubled down we
skunked and
skulked and
sank we
maybe made a big mistake.
