a Yahtzee game

The scratch of the pen
the roll of the dice,
Jimmy yells: six points up
Carrie cheers: YAHTZEE!
Alice groans: no points there,
Dad frowns: out of luck,
Mama smiles: no words needed.
Same dice for everyone,
why does Mama always win?
