Some are bright, some are light - but they're all blessings! |
She didn't ask for a pony She didn't ask for a doll On her birthday, it was crayons The biggest box of all! She was delighted With the pinks and reds and blues So much brightness So many shades and hues! She made many drawings Of birds and animals, ladies and gents Till many of the crayons Were reduced to tiny fragments But there were some crayons Still left untouched The greys, browns and pale yellows That she didn't value much. Her Mamma said, "Child, use those up" And she drew some unusual things And with each new discovery She learned of multi-colored blessings. 20 LINES |
