For Geatz, the best black kitty ever.

Sitting atop a fencepost
he surveys his domain
haughty lord in midnight furs

moonglow eyes pierce me
through the dusky twilight
as he pauses to listen
then jumps gracefully to the ground

he pads by silently
Ninja Cat clothed in darkness
off to do his wont,
to pounce rodents in the field

fierce hunter in the moonlight
by light, a kitten looking for love.
