Thirst

poem in Sedoka form

Flourishing forest
verdurous and full of life
leaves this one athirst for more.

Desert of harsh clime
bereft of all sustenance
overfills my thirsty soul.

Form: Sedoka - Two stanzas (katautas). Three lines each, with 5,7,7 syllables.
Rhyme Scheme: Not meant to be rhymed
Theme: Stanzas are used to see something from two different perspectives.
