Blueberry Birthday

A day for picking blueberries

We took our youngest blueberry picking,
it was all she wanted for her birthday.
A few hours of family fun.
Purple mouthed and happily exhausted,
we headed back toward home;
taking with us two blueberry bushes,
eleven pounds of fresh picked blueberries,
and a lifetime of sweet memories.
