An America stands firm
In its awestruck reverence;
A vision immersed in pomp and wisdom -
Enamored in decency, hope,
Wonder, and liberty…
Distinctive in proclivity,
And soulful in pride;
And a genuine rhythm
Born of agility, justice,
And substantial power.

A solution of modernity,
With a model restraint,
A glowing empathy,
And a passionate resolve.

And the beauty becoming
The boldness and sincerity
Of its most awesome citizenry,
To uniquely treasure
This Independence Day.

A cherished society
From the men and women
Who gave their lives
For the immaculate glory
Of the Stars and Stripes.
