Desert Gold

colors of the sun in the desert

Rose gold,
the colour of the sun
setting silently against
a desert foreground.

Warm,
         welcoming,
                   cheerful
reflections off the windshield
burst into a rainbow
of brightly colored auras
and blind me for a time
with their brilliant beauty.
