Yearning

on the Lifetime Channel; a suspense thriller set in New Orleans.

I saw a movie, today,
called “Malpractice”
on the Lifetime Channel;
a suspense thriller
set in New Orleans.
And yearning
filled my pores
until my skin
puckered,
and boiled open,
pouring my longing
toward this movie
where I oozed
myself into the TV
so I could be
home again,
for a moment,
even if only
in my mind.
