My daughter asked me
If I knew what Florida means
and what the source was,
So I said swamps,
Cities, and the elderly
Living in trailer park condos,
And something about the ‘glades
And the ghost of Osceola.
Clearly I spend to much time
On the internet
And not enough time
Gathering life
And fishing
In the clear blue waters
Of the Keys.
