With Guts, Without Glory

On the top of a treacherous mountain
Rocks falling onto the land
Fears running through their head
Knowing he could never again go home to his wed
Even though he had reached his goal
He wouldn’t be able to tell his family at home.

Another school assignment. This time I had to write based off of Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog (another painting.) I’m not really proud of it, but it’s enough to get a good grade.
