One hour

If I only had another hour with him.

If I could bring you back for just one hour, what would I say?

I would express my breathless love. I would fumble all my words. Saying it as fast as I can. I only have one hour.

I would say, I treasured you, I can breathe when your near. You put me at ease.

You tell me to stop crying.
You tell me you are okay.
You tell me you are at peace.
You tell me you are safe.

I want to believe you. I want you back but you have already made a home in heaven.
A home I hope to live in with you someday.
Someday.
