small things in life that make life worth living...

it’s the strong citrus
scent burst from the skin of a
freshly peeled orange

it’s silence; the
whispers of nothingness in
a room of solitude

collective laughter
and smiles signifying shared
happiness as one

warm hugs and falling
snow and youth and free love and
trust and happy tears

it’s the little things;
small everyday pleasures that
make me want to stay
