There is nothing much to say
Looking at your face today
In the coffin where you lay.

Just last week we took a walk
By the beach, and picked up rocks
And spend the day in aimless talk.

How would I know that in a week
I'd stand here, no words to speak
But look upon your pallid cheek.

There is little more to tell:
If your friends still with you dwell,
Speak to them and love them well.
