Radio Station Pulled Due To Cuts

An article about three Canadian sports radio stations being pulled off the air

Vancouver sports fans got a huge shock yesterday morning when TSN 1040 announced that the radio station was going off the air today.

The move is a result of Bell Media in Canada making financial cuts.

Winnipeg's TSN 1290 and Hamilton's TSN 1150 were also affected.

Winnipeg no longer has a 24 hour sports station.

It has been reported that TSN 1040 and 1290 are switching to a stand up comedy format.

Hamilton's radio station has switched to a business format, BNN Bloomberg.
