God Made The Sun

A creation poem for children

God made the sun to light and warm our days,
And the moon to glow at night.

He made the land and sea
And all the beauty in our sight.

God gave us healthy foods to eat
by creating flowers, plants and trees

He even made all creepy crawling things
And fliers like butterflies and bees.

He created every animal
Living on land and in the sea

He created all people
Including you and me.

For us,

God created the earth and
The heavens above

And all He asks for in return
If for us to love
