A photon to the sun
A grain of sand to the desert
A tear drop to the ocean

Though I am not there, I am here
My hours pass as seconds
My journey as steps
My score, notes and rests

And we are the entire symphony
We are the colors born of the sunrise
We are the vast reaches of the desert
We are the destination
The design..
          The purpose..
                   The wholeness...

We are the reason I love
We are the tears that I shed
The courage I know, we build
