My will

A lipogram poem for "The Whatever Contest." Never use the letter "e." Quite tricky.

my body is still
my mind is in flight
I build my will
a push to fight

a dark light is raging
a dark shadow is cast
I can't outrun it by aging
it follows in my past

its attack is slow
wind rolling across grain
but I stand fast, aglow
built up as spring rain
