Limericks for Thanksgiving gone awry.

Turkey Trot

A feisty young turkey named Rita
trained for the race with a cheetah.
Despite all her pluck
she ran out of luck,
the cheetah was fleeter than Rita.

Chef's Special

Chef Pete was an avid bird breeder,
he always found turkey breast sweeter.
His passion was stirred
by those beautiful birds,
he filled them with stuffing by Peter.

Turkey Surprise

A militant turkey named Tom
served as dinner with perfect aplomb.
Tom wasn't just bluffing,
he used cordite stuffing,
and his entrée was really the bomb!
