are all the dark days
she doesn’t remember
all the scars she doesn’t see
between you and me
is the mortar that holds
this wall of selves together
she’s never known the fear
of hands in the dark
invading and possessing her
she’s never known the pain
of fingers pointing and voices
mocking her, no that was
between you and me
and she will never know
how we exact her revenge
those bloody deeds we do
when she sleeps
and she sleeps peacefully
our angel amongst devils
she sleeps peacefully
