Can’t be annoying but can’t be something I’m not - a free verse poem. |
| In came the storied human desire - A relevant oath to dispatch the rhetoric. An enigma venting A longing so enraged; Completing that moral defense, A blend of passion and negative worth; A pittance that jarred the arrows Of shields long broken. A thousand years of enamored fortunes; Behemoths boasting of rare triumphs, Lunar destruction fed through auspicious quarters; Skies embossed by such intrepid veils. And closures meant for gory decimation. A time of duty, and a declaration Of change, And a sobering cry yielded To ingratiate the gods - Their life of appeasement Generously laid before them. |
