Lies, Lies and more Lies
You looked deep into their
souls and told them exactly what
they wanted to hear
.....so far from the
truth but nevertheless
music to the ears...........

Different person same lies
New episode different day
joy seems short lived
As the truth is sure to unfold.......

Times are changing lies are
compounding and the mind confused
Struggling with true and false
Make believe and reality crossed
path..........

Lying to one's self is a dangerous
Task , what's on the outside is
definitely not what's on the inside
And within creates a fake world......

Then battling with genuine and fake
Sends different signals and emotions
all over the place...........

Lies the "NEW NORMAL"!
