Abandoned Ladder

Shadows linger, frozen moon
Broken ladder left too soon
Sharpened rungs, rage weapons strong
Autumn rain seems out of tune

Skulls mementos, gallows long
Point of view screams, "I'm not wrong!"
Impaled on a bed of lies
Chipper echoes grinding song

Mistakes, brutal curtain skies
Bullies topple, weak man cries
Remains scattered, no heart found
Summer weeps when evil dies

Late to hear the breaking sound
Piece the ladder that was found
Beauty triumphs beyond bounds
Vicious slumber under ground
