I Am

We all have strengths, weaknesses and out and out flaws...these are some of mine.

I am...

Confident in every way...
Except in my choices.

Afraid of no man...
Yet terrified of most women.

A non-violent person...
Capable of extreme violence.

So full of love...
With nowhere to give it away.

A good person...
Who has few friends.

Highly Intelligent...
But I do the dumbest things.

A father...
But without my children, I am lost.

Happy I'm alive...
But so unhappy within my own life.

Unafraid of death...
Yet I want to live.

Unsure why I do what I do...
Yet everything I do, I do with determination.

Not crazy...
But I see madness in my actions.

Wanting peace...
With no idea where to look

Misunderstood...
Even by myself.

Trying to be a better human...
Yet, I despise our species.

Able to express through written word...
Yet few read what I have to say.

Hopelessness that shines like a light...
Bringing the unsuspecting in and onto the rocks.


Tired.
