Grownish,grown-uping is hard

Are you soooo overwhelmed at times these days join the club.

I am grown I told my family so often.
I am grown I've told my mom most often.
I am grown so if so why do I feel like a little child at times?
I am grown how long I waited to be able to say those words.
I wanted to yell it to the world when I hit 18 I am grown!
If I only knew what that really meant back then.
I feel like sometimes I hardly know now what grown means.
I am grownish I say now working up to grown.
All my bills bring me no thrill's .
All my having to run here and there is mostly no fun.
All the pills I have to take as I grow older just gives me chills.
I am grownish not grown most times.
I guess I can't wait y'all to really be truly grown one day.
Until then I will just be grownish I think..
Grown in a pandemic is even harder.
Working in an pandemic is just too much.
Going out and about in a pandemic who ever heard of such?
Having to wear a mask like everywhere is just too much at times.
That's why I say what I say grown-uping is hard.
Thankful to be grown-ish because at least I have more choices!
