The winter has come

The autumn has left and winter is coming

The winter is here
Autumn has passed
Once, leaves were everywhere
Now they are not a must

I used to hike in the woods day and night
Out in the fresh air
Now that winter is here I stay in fright
Wishing that the cold did not touch even my hair!

The clothes I wore used to be light
Leaving me feeling skinny and not tight
Now that winter has taken on life
I look like an overgrown man in disguise.

Cycling up hills had become
The fashion during this season
Now that autumn has left and winter has come
Staying at home is best for everyone

Now that Autumn has left and Winter has come
I will not know what will become
Of the bike that's sat in the snow
