Me and only me

Something i wrote as a teen

Do you know who I am?
Do you see the inner me?
I am lost and confused because you want me to be like you.
I am only one person that I'll always be.
I will never act like another,
I am me and only me.

Do you know who I am?
Maybe your too blind to see;
I like who I am,
I love myself for me
No matter what the Lord puts me through
I will be like me and only me!
