My mind is fragile
My heart is weak
My soul is absent
My thoughts cannot speak

This time is precious
This place is mute
This space is empty
This body in dispute

That world has passed
That life forgotten
That love is lost
That loss begotten

I love what I have
I hate what I've lost
I'll cherish the future
I'll suffer the cost
