Twice below a place
in a desert valley,
keeping along steep canyon walls,
Tom Blue-Truck and his red dog, Fred,
were seen slowly trekking
under a star scattered sky and full moon.
Tribal tales are still being told
of the legendary old man and his companion
as specters of the night.
