I’m tired of living on a planet run by materialistic values
No one appreciates a good heart
They trample on it & mock you

They value money and cars
And chase pointless connections
You know all those things
You can’t take with you to heaven

And if your kind & compassionate?
You’re met with cruelty & rejection
I long for simple things in life
Real connections & blessings

But In a world run by greed
And other pointless obsessions
It seems I’m the alien here
What I want, I’ll never get it

I wonder if I had money
Would my presence be accepted?
Or would I just be another victim
Of humans greed for possessions
