The Day My Plushies Came to Life

The Plushies liven up my living room.

T-Rex began it with a dance
upon the carpet one fine day.
A Duffy Bear then joined T-Rex
enough to take my breath away.

A Rainbow Bunny hopped on in
to dance with those two in the swing.
The Baby Chick from table top
in pleasure waved his little wing.

A lime green Brontosaurus then
strolled in to see what he could see.
His long thin neck a periscope
to peer at Plushies and at me.

That Grumpy Chicken would not dance,
though he himself was rhythm chick.
I saw him swaying in the shag;
(the carpet plush, so very thick.)

Some Hamsters and a tan Corgi
in gladness joined those dancing so.
And much to my astonishment,
came Narwhal, Hedgehog and Rhino.

It was a group of merriment
as Plushies livened up the place.
They came to life with vim and glee,
and they put sunshine on my face.
