A dream

Going through a feeling right now

When you found me, I was isolated

You came up from behind
Made me jump
But only for a moment

Your arms, strong and reassuring
Wrapped around me as your
Radiant warmth melted my back and my heart

I didn't know you
It didn't matter
I wanted to be together.

And as you breathed, I felt it.

Your want. It was the same as mine
Maybe I was dreaming
No, no

You teased me with a kiss, and I let you
It was so warm

I smiled silently to myself
finally having my dream fulfilled

But you couldn't

I sensed you stopping
I whispered "you can"

But you were already leaving

I guess my fantasy was just that

A dream.
