Your steps are the key

Your steps determine your future

As I took each step forward
I realize I'm walking towards my future
Lifting up my head I admired the beauty of nature
Time flies faster than birds
Faster than I can describe with words
Looking back is not an option
Though I had many options
Look back stop or keep going
So I paused and planned with options
There's a saying
Tell me where your steps are heading
And I'll tell you what you will become
Lots of people take steps and yet no outcome
The future is hard to see
But it's all in my hands
I said all I need to do is plan and be busy as a bee
Still walking gently with each step moving one after another
I pictured my future in my mind
Took note of it and moved further
There's really no secret in life
Only how everyone use their time
I took a deep breath knowing everything will be fine
I recalled how lots of people took the wrong steps
Taking another deep breath I shook my head
They all end up with regrets
Feeling the cold breeze that moved the grasses
I knew the world was a beautiful place
Still one has to watch his/her steps or end up with stitches
