Poem for my Mother who blesses me with her faith, love, sweet tenderness, and sacrifices.

My Mother, My Blessing

Of all the many blessings
That the Lord has given me,
My Mother is the greatest
That there shall ever be.

She shows me how to live
In her sweet and gentle way
And shows me with her life
How to live for Christ each day.

God's word and His direction
She so faithfully obeys;
Revealing Christ to others
By the things she does and says.

She sacrifices many things
With warm and tender love,
As the Father sacrificed His Son
Sent down from Heav'n above.

This poem does not do justice
For mere words cannot express,
How she impacts my life
And fills my heart with happiness.
