Another year has rolled around.
It came in with a crashing sound
Goals for what comes are hard to keep,
Unless the goal is to oversleep.
Pessimism is an unpopular stance,
But I prefer it to taking a chance,
That I will fail is a goal assured,
Another year another turd.
