Come Clean

Over-thinking, Complicating my own love life. Unreal view of love

Asleep at the wheel
and awake in my dreams.
Everything around me,
not quite what it seems...
...Yet I long to say something
to make you be mine,
and maybe those words
will become us in time.

But words, so inadequate,
they cannot convey
all of the things I keep hidden away.
My only hope?
-that you'll know what I mean,
until I get the urge
to just simply come clean...
...And say, "I Love You".
