Short poem (again)

It's funny
How they think they know us
Assume they see us
All of us

Our lives are full of lies
And yet we never stop to wonder
What we're hiding from each other
Never search for the secrets

Maybe we just know hidden things are hidden for a reason.

But for once
Just one time
Would I like someone to question my smile
Look past my laugh

Only once
Would I like someone to see behind the mask
Or even
Just see it
