personification contest poem about humanity taking mother nature for granted entered in |
| Mother Nature By Lisa Noe Mother Nature speaks, telling us she’s angry with humanity. She is telling us in brutal, forceful words of winds and lightning, Tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and so many other ways. She is getting revenge by flooding our homes, burning our businesses, And causing some wildlife to become extinct and our people to die. The oceans have come to life and destroy that which is along the shorelines. The rivers swell and speak wicked words of wisdom to dwellers who shall drown when the rivers flood their banks as they often do. Littered lakes look sad as their water evaporates from the drought. Take Heed ye human of all your pollution and greed, Take not these gifts for granted. 122 words 10 lines |
