Candy Corn Discord

"Candy Corn
Don't waste your time"
Said brother with a sigh

"You miss the point
It's so sublime"
Said sister in reply

"You'll rot your teeth
It's way too sweet"
Then he rolled his eyes

"You should not scorn
Tradition so
With such a pack of lies"

Said he "I doubt
You even like
The taste that corn imparts"

Said she "It is
A one trick pony
Sweet and never tart"

"So why" he asked
"Do you persist
And stuff them in your mouth?"

Said she "Alright
I'll tell you why
I've looked both North and South"

"North and South
That's just nonsense!"
He answered with a shout

"I also looked
Both high and low
I've looked both in and out"

"Alright go on
Then I'll decide
If it makes sense or not"


Said she "I must eat
Candy Corn
Because it's all we've got!"
