A Day In The Meadow

Hear faint chirps in the meadow.
Where the birds fly to be free.
Dogs bark at what they can’t see.
A breeze blowing soothingly.
Makes me want to fall asleep.
I sit under the shade tree.
Wishing my love was with me.
