Making Space For Grace

Brand new piece of my original writing.

Hard to get excited
For a love so unrequited
I will continue to roam
Until I find a place where I can be alone
Somewhere that I do not feel rejected
Where my thoughts will not be be neglected
Where my feelings will be respected
Always thinking that if I keep searching
Another person would come along to help stop me from hurting
So far that idea has not been working
It has been quite a long fall from grace
My heart still has a big empty space
My mind still continues to race
Beginning to circle back around
In hopes that was once lost will able to be found
It has been quite an adventure
Trying to get back to the center
A point where balance exists
It was always thought to be a myth
So far there has yet to be any sign
That is just fine
There is still time
One way or another victory will be mine...
