I have severe depression and anxiety. This is a glimpse into my mind during these moments.

There is no escape
Immense pressure crushing my skull
Let me be free
I cry
Is this really me?
My judgement clouded
Darkness overcomes
Hazing my vision
Capturing my thoughts
Is anything real?
Escape shines in the distance
Beautiful
I reach for an answer
Quickly
The pain is released
Darkness begins to fade
Blood pours from my veins
Am I free?
The battle is over
But have I won?
