Am I invisible to your naked eye?
Have I blended into your world
that you no longer see me?
Am I so transparent
with my polished veneer?

You say I run hot and cold,
that I have changed.
Have I not made myself crystal clear?
Don't let my appearance deceive you.
You need me to survive.

I meet your icy gaze
with words vaporising
into your murky mind.

I see your hesitation as
you reach out to hold me.
You swallow your pride and
take the plunge,
I evaporate before your very eyes!
