The Tide Seems Strengthened

Political polarization in America is making friends with the middle - a poem.

To the highest -
We find all
To be vilified and ruined
In our disdain.

The cowardly shall be scathed
And admonished,
And these emphatic echoes
Shall forever endure
The shake up of our advance. 

For we shall happily
Reward these passions
With a meaningful design,
A legacy of well-defined worth
And appropriate values.

And these modest
To moderate strategies
Will come to fruition,
In the long and short term.
